So a book I've been reading tells me to keep track of art that I like, so that I can more easily track what things I respond to visually. So I decided to do that, but in addition share with you the art that I like. First up is
John Singer Sargent's Lady Agnew of Lochnaw. I decided to pick a portrait, since I'm taking portraiture class. I think Sargent is one of the best portrait artists that ever lived, and this was the painting that launched his career as a portraitist. I'm sure you can see why.
